Anyone watched this movie? It was released last summer. I read a description of the story and it got excellent reviews, esp of TH’s performance. I have always liked his acting ability; ranks up there with those of the classic era.

Excellent movie especially if you are a WWII history buff. It's amazing what convoy escorts had to endure...once they were far out at sea out of range of air support they were completely on their own. Some really good photography/special effects.

Where did you see it? Rotten Tomatoes shows it only available from Apple TV+ subscription.

There are ways...

Yeah, it's a pretty good movie.
A few discrepancies but that's okay...not meant to be a documentary.

I have not seen it. Will have to wait until it's available on Comcast. I don't plan to start an Apple TV subscription to see it.

I saw it and considered it a very good movie. It’s on Apple TV, and as far as I know, it’s only showing on Apple.
I’m sure there is another way to watch it besides Apple.

It seems these days lots of new movies are only available streaming on one platform. In order to see them all you'd have to have subscriptions to Disney+, HBO MAX, Hulu, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Netflix and others.

Watched it about a week ago and enjoyed it...now I'll watch it again to catch some of the stuff that I may have missed.

Based on a C S Forrester novel which is great. Really want to see this but don’t do subscription services since I’m not a big move watcher. OH well. Choices.

I got a year of Free Apple TV with my Verizon account.

We like the movie a lot - very gripping.

Yes it is, thanks for the link!! I just watched it. Very emotional. Love Tom Hanks' movies - reminds me of "Saving Private Ryan".

You're quite welcome. Glad it is still available. My Dad was a merchant Seaman during the second world war, mainly in the North Atlantic and used to tell me stories about the u-boats, top heavy ships from the ice, etc.
