Thanks, and yes I do so for I want my eye to be drawn into the area that I find to be of interest. All of the detail that the camera captured is still there, I just don't want my eye to go where I want. Of course it's to each their own.
If I had graduated neutral density filters and set up a tripod I could accomplish the same thing although standing in the stream on slippery rocks for an old man just to get a shot was challenging enough for me.
