Believe it is some kind of moth but I cannot find in any of the on-line guides.
A little over an inch (I think) flits very erratically. This one flew a gauntlet of small birds!
This shot was over 60 feet away from my D500 with my 500pF attached.
Hope some one can help ID this beautiful little critter!
Its clearly a Chupacabra.
Run!

Thanx for the quick response! This will take a while!
Wow! I did not know how many different moths there are in the PNW! Thanx for the quick response!
Whew! A bunch of critters to sort through! I think it is a bit different than your idea but I cannot find it! Thanx for the response!
Just looking at the antenna it looks to be a butterfly not a moth?
Try "exposed bird dropping moth"

Could be. I see knobs on the end of the antenna. Thanx for viewing!
