As part of my motive to find a way of seeing wood fiber, I found some cork from a recently emptied red wine bottle. I scraped the cork to gather thin fragments. Some were thin enough to be used as microscope subjects. I could see some cell structures in the cork and some interesting elastic plant fibers. I could watch water being absorbed into the cork fibers. It was like an exploration of another planet.
Interesting video Don. Good work. If you drink enough of that red wine, it will be another way to explore that other planet. lol
