I HATED it! Never been more disappointed in a play. Money and time I will never see again! All those explosions and light flashes just to keep the audience from falling asleep! Just one man's opinion!!

I’ve heard that performed many time and this was definitely one of the best. I like the young Sarah Brightman version a tiny bit better.

I agree; Sara Brightman was incredible. As I recall, Tim Rice wrote Phantom specifically for Sara who was his wife, at the time. I've seen it twice in Boston and it was just as astounding the second time even though I knew what to expect.

Sara was married to Andrew Lloyd Webber, not Tim Rice
