No, not the type made in backwoods stills. We had a crescent moon this evening and the sky was clear, so I took out my Nikon P900 and took a shot handheld. It was tricky, but of the six I took, this one turned out ok. I did a little very light editing using the Apple Photos program on my iPad Pro. Looks best in download.

Thank you very much, Jaymatt. I took that while using the plastic trash container outside our garage. I discovered that a garbage can isn’t the best way to get a steady shot, especially when you’re shivering from the cold. It was close to zero degrees out when I took that.

Maybe snap between shivers. Actually, I was standing in the doorway, but without a jacket on. I wanted to get the moon while it was gettable. It was really bright, and several shots overexposed the moon. On this one I underexposed a bit. It was so bright all I could get was the moon seriously blown out. I like this darker version. It’s not the same old same old.
