Good morning to all! I am a “new” photographer relatively. I’ve always tried to take a million shots to get the “one” but have been an apprentice to a professional photographer fo the past few months...he is amazing and my best friend! I am happy to share some shots I have acquired over the past few months. I am soo inspired by my friend and love photography...please give me some great advice or suggestions. Thank you and keep shooting my friends.

This was taken out my dining room/ living room window across from my apartment. I live in St. Louis. It’s Compton Hill Water Reserve.

Thank you ☺️

Welcome aboard, but remember to buckle your seatbelt. First a couple comments. When attaching an image check "store original". Also, when posting a reply, use "Quote Reply" so others will know to whom you are replying if it's someone specific.

I think your image has more potential. If it were mine I'd start by opening up (lightening) the dark shadows to show more detail and use rotate and/or transform to straighten the tall building so it doesn't look like it's leaning left and make the horizon more level. Happy shooting!!

Welcome to the best place for any level of skilled photographer. Also a great place to sell and get good deals.

Great start on your more advanced foray into photography. This is a great capture, thanks for sharing. I would just do a slight perspective transform to adjust the angle of the tower structure. Beautiful rendering. As they say, "fasten your seatbelt and enjoy the ride".
