I haven't posted any photographs recently so I thought I would send this along. My wife had back surgery in Jan and I have had to pick up the slack as she needed help with all things around the house. Yesterday was a nice day and I took her out for lunch at one of our favorite places, Walters Basin and Bass Hole Lounge on Squam Lake where the movie "On Golden Pond" was filmed. This time of the year there is little tourist activity and no boating. There is however snowmobiling and ice fishing. Occasionally we get to see some of the snowmobiles go across the open water on the channel... Anyway, here is a view from our seat in the lounge. This was taken with my Samsung S9+ and pp in PS with a little help from On1 2021 effects. enjoy
It's been a long time since I visited Squam Lake. Thanks for the memories.
Beautiful capture and rendering of this vista. Thanks for sharing.
Simply beautiful. Really enjoyed viewing this. That S9 does a remarkable job.

Wow - never in million years would I think this was taken with a cell phone. Amazing. Cell phones cameras have come a long way.
The beauty of it is we get to go there at least twice a month. I love the off season as it is not crowded... Prices are reasonable...and good food!

The S9+ is pretty amazing...Not as good as my D810 but great for quick shots. I think the new version shoots in RAW...
