Lensbaby 56 velvet and canon RF mount

Not sure if anyone has had this issue or not and I couldn't find it with a quick search, but, for anyone shooting Canon mirrorless and is thinking about the Lensbaby 56mm Velvet, I got my Canon RF mount Lensbaby 56mm Velvet in today and it would not work on my mirrorless camera at all. However, I did figure out a way to work around it. Since the lens is totally manual and the camera does not recognize it, you can go into the camera menu and allow your camera to release the shutter with no lens attached and then it will work.

Oh, nice! Both my Olympus OMD-10 and my Lumix cameras have that feature. I use Av mode with them. Works awesome 😎☺️
Let's me use my Nikon, Minolta, Lens Baby 2.0, and many more lenses!

Ok. I am going to use my lens baby later. So this is very helpful!

Yes, one of the first thing that has to be done.
My Velvet 56 won't lock into a Nikon (F) mount, tried on 5 cameras.
