I think you know that Amazon has a Wishlist where you can put things for future reference. When I'm looking to buy something, I put several similar items there and then go through them in detail before I decide which one to buy. I recently moved a lot of items out of my Wishlist and put them into specific lists: Cameras, Tools, Ukuleles, Clothes, etc. This makes it much easier to check on things when I'm looking for something.
Give it a try. It's a good way to kill time and spend money.
I also use several lists for different categories, and some lists transform in two, one for short-term wishes and one for long-term ones.
I also have a list called "Next buy" to group items when I'm ready/near to purchase.
But I don't live in the USA (and no Amazon or similar here, and prices waaaaay more expensive), so I'm limited on the amounts and purchases I can do, I have to maximize my chances :)
Jerry, it's more like spend time and kill my bank account.

And now I want to add this question. Are you all receiving your Amazon packages being delivered by Amazon """Logistics""" ? What is the track record in your city?
I live in So. Fla. Amazon is much better at delivery than fed x. So far FedX marked two different pkgs delivered when they had not been. When I complained, the one that I'd paid $40 for overnight delivery (medication) arrived 10 days later. So far Amazon has been delivering sooner than expected. The other package arrived a week late saturated in cat urine. Just saying.

That is ironic. I friend of mine who is a pro photographer /videographer also dabbles in musicianship and likes Ukuleles, Mandolins, and Guitars. I also at one time personally knew Ukulele player, former rock star, Ian Whitcomb. He had been making Ragtime music with ukulele and piano for many decades.

Yes, I have noticed Amazon Logistics. I have not been sure if it were something new or just different since we moved last May from a suburban area to a semi-rural area of CA, from near Los Angeles to near San Luis Obispo, CA. Where we were living we were near several Amazon warehouses and they had drivers drop packages offs on a regular basis, we also received purchases shipped by UPS, USPS, FedEx, DHL. We still get many direct Amazon Prime items from those same sources only now they have to travel an additional 220 miles to be delivered by the same many carriers. UPS has been better here, and sadly the USPS fast but since we now have a mail box cluster for our street and not individual boxes, our postal delivery person keeps putting ours and others mail on the wrong locked boxes. Also we now receive more broken items. It seems many things are shipped via private or UPS but actually delivered by the USPS. Crazy days.
Here in St. Louis, they do horribly. Our packages are delivered to a local hardware store. We've known the owner since dirt was discovered. Long after the store closed, with a security gate up around the door area, Logistics decided to drop two packages, onto the sidewalk, next to the security. They remained on the sidewalk all night, to my surprise actually. They even took a picture of it, on the sidewalk, next to the security gate. This is in an industrial area. How could anyone ever believe that was okay??

Hola Juan,
I moved to the Dominican Republic 3 years ago from the US. While the shipping charges do add up, I use Mailboxes Etc. For Amazon, EBay, and similar online stores. There are other similar services out there if MBE is not available in your area.

Anything of interest goes to my 'cart'.
It sits there until I am ready to buy something...then whatever is in the cart is moved to ...'save for later' ... 'deleted'...or left there to add to the order already happening.

Yes, I've been using Amazon's wish list for years and it has another advantage. I get price drop and sale notifications for things on my list in case I want it but was unwilling to pay the original price! I've bought several of my list items at a pretty good discount because of this.
