Symmetry

For this challenge, share an image of symmetry. Don’t limit yourself to architecture — you can bend this theme in any way you’d like.
A portrait of your twins? A window grille? The yellow lines of a busy road? A row of sharp points along a metal fence? Let the world inspire you.
Your interpretation of this theme might be quite different from mine, as symmetry doesn’t necessarily equate to peace and calm.

Symmetry: The creation of an image in which both sides (either horizontal or vertical) should look the same. Pattern: Capturing elements in which there are repeating shapes, lines, or colors.

Vertical Symmetry
Vertical symmetry doesn’t always have to focus on the centre of your composition.
Horizontal Symmetry
A lake will perfectly reflect, and add texture to, a landscape.
Radial Symmetry
You can also combine several kinds of symmetry to take your photos to the next level.
Reflective Symmetry
As its name suggests, reflective symmetry is all about reflections. You can find reflections in water, surfaces like glass, and buildings.

Great idea for another challenge. Not an easy one for me. Love your interesting take on symmetry. I like the radial image and idea. I am curious to see all the possibilities and interpretations of symmetry in this challenge.

Great start off, Lesley. I have a few but not tonight. Question - Did I miss the March Calendar?

Good topic!
I have a few reflection photos, but will go out tomorrow and try to be more deliberate in finding symmetry around the place.

This should be both a fun, and challenging challenge...go figure...lol

I really like your explanation and images, Lesley, and several of
my images came to mind...some are pretty standard symmetrical
images, and some are images I created...let me know if I'm
too far out there...
