Love it! 19 degrees up here this morning. Stay warm and send me one of your little drink umbrellas!
Thanks! I sent that to a friend in TX and here's his response;
My heart goes out to you. I'll bet a lot of us Texans feel the same. Should you have to drive through Texas in the next year or two, you might want to cover your Florida license plates... Our sense of humor is a little thin these days.

Right back at ya my friend. 🍹🍷
weather here in Fort Wayne has been great by staying below freezing and even with too much snow we could still cross country ski. today it went south with temps above freezing and rain forecasted. Now winter is useless to hot to ski and too cold to swim in the slush covered pond
I keep telling my brother in Miami that Florida is for thin-blooded geezers who can't handle more than one season per year but somehow I haven't convinced him yet. It's pretty cold around here these days but I'm sure soon enough I'll complain about the summer heat. Complaining about different seasons isn't an option in Florida!
Guess room open? That will teach ya.

I had a friend who was born in Massachusetts, but then went to school in Fiji, where he spent 10 years. When he came back to Massachusetts, it was really tough on him.
(I never saw the temperature in MA go lower than -22F).

When it got -36 below I went to get my MN Vikings Superbowl jacket, but I couldn't find it (LOL)!! For those of you that don't know, Minnesota has never won the big one. I suppose that I could have grabbed my Minnesota Twins World Series jacket or the MN Lynx women's basketball championship jacket, but they are both getting a little old - especially the Twins (1989 and 1991). There must something in the water for the athletes in Tampa!!
