I got a LOT of interest in mine . with a 18/55 lens batteries cards and remote release. for $1350. with 24k Clicks
so 1500 is real good.
of course interest and people with money are two different things.

Why would you pair an FX camera with a DX lens?

These all have warrantees. I don't have a retail receipt. Would $1500 be fair? That would cover a service by Nikon if needed in the first several years.

Nikon only warrantees the original purchaser, and they have to prove it with an original receipt.

I doubt Nikon would do it for free unless it was in the warranty time frame that Nikon give from date of purchase. I have a D810 in pristine condition with under 6k clicks on it , a l-bracket, D. Young's D810 book & , all the original packaging. I would list mine for around $1200-1250 if I was going to sell it. List it & see what happens. Good luck with the sale.

Nikon is very clear concerning their USA warranty. Must be purchased from an Authorized Nikon Dealer and you must present proof of purchase. Usually this is a copy of the receipt. And, if it was a gift, one should ask for a copy of the receipt. We all know what they cost.
Regarding the price. Of course get what you can. The D810 is a phenomenal camera. But.....everyone here has chimed in with good advice. Purchasing used from a dealer provides short term warranties. I'm with TCT above.

What forms of payment do you accept? How do you plan to ship. Is shipping additional?

I can take Venmo, or PayPal. I prefer Venmo because they don't take a cut out of it. I can ship using USPS or UPS. I think USPS first class insured is probably the cheapest at about $50 within the lower 48. I can cover shipping within the lower 48. If it's beyond that, buyer pays. I'll put the box bubble wrapped inside another shipping box.

That's a great price for an extremely popular model. You should have no trouble selling it.
