I have a brand new, still in plastic, Nikon D810 body only that I bought from a pair of brothers intending to start a photo business but never did. As of right now, I've never taken it out of the plastic, put a lens on it, or clicked the shutter. I'm considering selling it, but have no idea of value.
The serial number is 3065XXX and the barcode says D810 (U), presumably for sale in the US.
Feel free to ask questions here, and/or, if interested, PM me to exchange phone or email addresses. I'm in Kaysville, Utah.
Update>>>
Interest seems to have cooled off, I didn't receive any questions today. I'm consolidating the answers I've given below:
I can take Venmo, or PayPal. I prefer Venmo because they don't take a cut out of it. I can ship using USPS or UPS. I think USPS first class insured is probably the cheapest at about $50 within the lower 48. I can cover shipping within the lower 48. If it's beyond that, buyer pays. I'll put the box bubble wrapped inside another shipping box.
I'll entertain offers until Thursday evening the 25th. Then, if not sold, I'll open it an include it in the inventory of my personal equipment.
Thanks for looking.
You can go to Adorama or KEH and get them to quote you a price, and then add 20-30%.
And you can go to ebay and list the sold ones.
Your buyer may not get Nikon warranty but Nikon will work on it.
These all have warrantees. I don't have a retail receipt. Would $1500 be fair? That would cover a service by Nikon if needed in the first several years.

Wouldn't that depend if the warranty card was sent in? Or not?
I don't know. I've tried to send in old lens warrantee cards and they asked for a data and location of purchase, and a receipt. I could probably ask and get the location (likely Salt Lake, Utah), and an approximate date, but I didn't see any sales receipts. The warrantee card is still in the box. Actually, I think I have claimed warrentee ownership on some used Nikon lenses a the Nikon USA site.

In that case, couldn't it be registered as a "gift"?
If you buy one from Mpb or keh they offer a year warranty at times. 6 months is normal at no charge.

I got a LOT of interest in mine . with a 18/55 lens batteries cards and remote release. for $1350. with 24k Clicks
so 1500 is real good.
of course interest and people with money are two different things.

Are you implying that he should?
Not following the reason for your comment.

He was or other folks were talking about a Nikon warranty. I was staying that when you buy one from the aforementioned places you get a warranty. So if it was 1500.00 from keh with a warranty it may be a better buy than 1500.00 without. Just an observation. I personally think it is a good deal at whatever price he decides. It's his camera and the market takes care of itself. Lol
OK, I've set a price. If you're really interested in it, let's talk.
