Nostalgia Fun. Go back to any year since 1951 - Listen to the pop music hits of that year.

You've had many great posts, Mark, but this is my favorite. This one could keep me busy all day if I didn't have to....wait, I don't have anything to do. Thanks Mark.

I went back to 1958, the year I graduated high school. What a kick! Thanks for posting, Mark.

Hey Mark that's a fun one. Aside from checking your nostalgia year, it's interesting to go year by year, scroll through the titles and see the trends coming (and going) as the years pass. The crooners of the 50's; the rise of rock & roll; surf & car music; Motown; the British invasion; singer/songwriters finally being recognized; punk/grunge; disco; rap; etc. etc. Funny how some artists pop up, decade after decade while the one-hit-wonders quickly vanish.

Yes!! Talent seems to prevail and rises to the top! I'll likely catch "hell" for this comment, but in my opinion, much of today's music is almost "non music". It is only rhythm and is devoid of melody and a classical form of music. It lacks structure and the result is, in my opinion, junk. Let the sparks fly!
Thanks,
Mark
