Came across this deal for cloud storage. The company Starchive is offering 1tb of cloud storage for life for less than a $100.00. I signed up and have started transfering files and it seems to work very well. I was able to access my pictures from other computers and download them with no problems. I figure for "life" means mine or the companies, whichever lasts longer..

so, what's with the "code" you have to redeem within 30 days and have you set a 5 year reminder to get your account upgraded to lifetime? If it's legit it seems like a good deal...

I signed up the first day I got the account. The 5 year reminder is kind of weird, not sure what will happen if you don't remind them. Worse thing is I lose the account but I got five years of cloud storage for $100. Not a bad price I guess...

About a year ago I received an unlimited storage lifetime offer for Google - I can use the Photos or Drive option. So far it works like a charm. The offer appears in my inbox again from time to time and some of my family have taken advantage of it too. The one-off cost was about $50. If interested PM me and I'll pass on the offer link the next time it appears.

I suspect "life" means whichever is shorter not longer.
