I’m baaaack, and it’s free Sunday again. Thanks a lot for covering for me last week Judy Juul while I was High….up in Montana and Wyoming that is. I have been remiss for even checking in on the last couple of challenges while traveling and catching up with my brother-in-law who I traveled with on a great tour of Yellowstone NP. A beautiful winter wonderland, and no crowds. You’ll get tired of my frosty trees and bison before I’m done. Here are some just to start, and I’m looking forward to what you’re itching to share too.
We were booked into the Chico Hot Springs resort the first two nights.

On our way there we crossed the Yellowstone River and our shuttle driver turned around to pull over and capture this unique eddy of icy waters.

Elk are a big thing all over up there. They’re hanging around everywhere.

Looks like you had a Blast Larry..That is a Big rock..
Since we can't travel up here at the moment, I revisited some photos I took of Niagara Falls in February 2015.
Here is one I massaged a bit in Aurora HDR and ON1. D90, ƒ6.3, ISO 200 18mm on 10-20mm Sigma 1/200 Sec.
It is really cold here today (-20C with the windchill), so I would not have gone to Niagara today anyway!
Enjoy.
Hi Larry, thanks again
These were shot yesterday, called ''These Times''

Nice set Jim. Are these am or pm shots?
I had to test my new insulated waterproof boots before we got into too deep of trails and colder temps at higher altitudes so we took a little 4 mile hike the second morning.
just couldn't stop shooting everywhere we looked.
