Just now have cameras that busted my limited retirement budget. To keep from going crazy I purchased a Nikon D3500 and a Canon EOS Rebel T6 with associated kit lenses among others (24mm macro, 75-400mm zoom, and a ungodly heavy 1000mm tele).

I am now "that guy" who walks around town carrying two cameras taking pictures of everything.
Methinks I will be eating mac and cheese for the next month. :)
And loving it!

I don't know. I like the Canon better. Just seems to "talk" to me so I end up using it the most

Welcome to the "Hog". Interesting choice of gear, since the layouts and ergonomics are so different, No matter, enjoy them both and don't be shy to share your results.
