It shouldn't, we all age. The county, at this minute, is replacing curbs at all intersections in the neighborhood with wheelchair ramps.

I'm not sad about aging. I'm sad about the way they depicted the old people, and about why it might be necessary to depict the stereotype over basic caution.
captivecookie has made a very thoughtful observation.

I think we have all become too sensitive about stereotyping. That sign is designed to be humorous not literal. I guess I am not sensitive or WOKE enough to live in today's society.
I had absolutely no thought that a sign put up by a senior couple in a senior community could cause offence. I will not apologize for the posting however, or ask Admin to delete it. If it offends you, don't look. I am 77 years old and it doesn't offend me. I will, however, ask the four couples that I know who walk together with cane or walker, or both if they are offended. I will be seriously surprised if they do. Over all, we down here, manage to keep a perspective on life that if not politically correct is at least correct to our standards and beliefs.

They could stand up in a square.

I require no redress of your opinion, though nothing you said about me is accurate.

I am 74, almost 75, and it doesn't bother me at all. Thanks for sharing.

If people hadn't become so damn sensitive there would be a lot more happy, smiling people in the world. I bet some really old folks would laugh like crazy after seeing this sign.
In other words, I like it!

Actually at 83 I see myself in the sign
