Here's a few Jaguars from the godan1 collection.

For me, it's really hard to tell the model and year, so if any of you Brits or Jag aficionados can help me out, feel free to comment.

#3 is a 1958 or 1959 xk150. The others that look similar without hard top are XK150 Drop Head Coupes.

#1 looks like the 1961 XKE the first production model.

The only Jag i ever owned was a 1960 MKII 2.4 liter and it was a pleasure to drive, but constantly leaked oils and the positive ground Lucas electrics always caused problems.

I believe it was in 69 when they came out with the 4 door car, I was taking physic 101 when the prof had a couple of us guy hooked up to a lie detector. One young guy showed no reaction to a playboy nude model , but with the new 4 door the needle went crazy. A true story. I was there and saw it.

The green coupe is a series 2. Series I had smaller turn signals located above the bumper, had head light covers , 3 windshield wipers and did not have the additional clearance lights on the side near the wheel wheel. A shot of the back of the car would likely say 4.2 ETYPE. The series 2 is a fun car to drive.

The last one is an XK-120. You can tell by the split windshield and the thin, straight bumpers. I can't say what year for certain, but it looks identical (except for the color) to the 1954 model I drove in college in the late 1960's. These examples are gorgeous.

The question is whether it’s one of the original 16 from 1957 or the 9 factory produced replicas produced in 2016. Either way, I would guess it’s a 1M$+ automobile. From my point of view, the only thing more desirable would be a D type.

The XK SS is one I have no recollection of. A limited production car.
