Thought I'd try pictures of something other than birds, animals and scenery. So out to the garage / workshop to see what was there. The picture below appeals to me for some reason. I hope it does to you also.

Nice collection! If you can find one you need the Molding Plane with all the bits - Dad had one, a fascinating tool. Don't know where it went, but I'm not a collector of Planes.

What a wonderful set. I used to collect and tune them when I was younger and had more money. Could you post shots of the individual planes please.

I was hoping for a B-36. But this is fine.
I will always remember when entering shop class in 7th grade Mr Harrison handed me a board, a plane and a square. What fun it was.
Made my mom a match striker. Wonder what ever happened to it.
Thanks for bringing up that memory from 1955.

I'll try to do that over the next few days. That should be an interesting project.
All but four of these are garage sale items, none are high-end tools. The two wooden planes were sent to me by my son when he and his wife were stationed in Germany. And most of them still need rehabilitation.

Beautiful and extremely cooperative subjects ⭐ You know, their design is very elegant. I never got a bad shot of tools😁

You've got some oldies there. I've got a set that belonged to my grandfather that is over 100 years old. Amazing what a craftsman could do with a molding plan.

Didn't the FAA ground that one?
