Ah, such sweet memories of that place! Nearest thing here in Sarasota, FL is Selby Gardens, with southern flora of course, but lots of variety in the greenhouses. Moven down here in 1984, a long time ago...sigh!

Great time to create photography books for that time when you might not be able to photograph, then you can sit down in comfort and page through them. Also, a good time to check that your LrC catalog is up to date: clean up keyword mistakes, ensure that all images are keyword, delete old images that you will never use. And, if you have any public places nearby, get to know them, a park, a wildlife refuge, some other tourist type or special attraction that you would not normally go to or want to photograph more often. I think we've got another 4-6 months before this all starts to die down, although now 65+ can be vaccinated in all states when vaccine arrives and that should help a lot. Trying to make the best of it is all we can do. And, yes, my travel has been way reduced, 90%, and is only local and I have fewer photographs.
Well, paid gigs are way, way down as I do mostly sports. No portrait shoots at all as this is a side gig and the potential virus exposure isn't worth it to me or others.
I have branched out and done more "fun" stuff like birds and surfing. So, that has been good.
Three responses.
OP: Age not virus has the most impact on the number of shots. Virus has most effect on the verity of shots.
Quixdraw: You express my viewpoint perfectly.
Linda: That looks like a fun thing to do but: I don't subscribe to social media of any type (except UHH) and use DuckDuckGo as my web browser. Not a political statement, I just never got hooked.
Went through my old images mostly and printed quite a few. Looking forward to going to New Mexico again to visit my daughter in July I hope. NM is a photographer's paradise.
I’m like you on the 80% to include high school seniors which is down 90% and the out look is not good.

It has cause me to have about 80% decrease compared to a year ago.
Many events that i would attend are no more.
My travel plans have be reduced to 0%.
My airbnb guest has been reduced to 0%.
Overall it has been a bummer.
I showed a $2500 loss for 2020. Not good.

Well, it has caused me to spend time going thru old Hard Drives, looking at photos from way past, asking myself,
'Why would I have kept This One and That One"? -
In doing this Drudge work, I also discovered that Google Photos, which I signed up for, and apparently agreed to have all of my photos added, and looking thru it, discovered MANY (Hundreds) of pix that I didn't take, added to my photos, which is the reason I had to Buy more 'storage' from Google!
So, That's some of what I've been spending 'Pandemic Time' doing! - (with lots more to do! - UGH!)

Wow! Someone from Philo! I'm from Ukiah. I've only been out a couple times. It was just a crappy year for me.

I guess we grin and bear it. It's especially annoying to people who make some or all of their living with cameras. I'm lucky I'm partly retired and have multiple skills I can switch among, but it's paralyzed many folks.
The vaccines can't get here soon enough. In our area, they're still doing health workers and 75-ups. I'm 65...
