I visited the duck ponds outside the Tucson Zoo for the first time this week. I have never seen such a huge quantity and variety of ducks and geese.
There must have been at least 75 Wigeons, numerous Coots, Mallards, Redheads, Canvasbacks etc; along with white ducks, multi-colored ducks, Swan geese, Snow Geese, and four Cormorants. There were also numerous rock pigeons.
Apparently they love Cheerios.....a lady was hand feeding them from the box, and then dumped the rest near me. there was a storm of ducks and birds all around me, eating up the Cheerio's.
Hope you enjoy these.
Nice pictures. Nice variety.
Love the third and last capture, so fun to look at, keep shooting!
