Wow, LOTS of Eagles Cindy ! ..........thanks for sharing
Thanks everyone....glad you all are enjoying these eagles as much as I am! I figured out why they are hanging around the compost area....there is a lot of fruit thrown in there sometimes and the rodents come to eat the fruit....mice, squirrels and such....the eagles them. That's why sometimes the eagles are there and sometimes they are not...depends on if the fruit is there.

Fantastic Images!!! Cindy
I thought that our local nesting pair had moved to a new location, But yesterday on my way home from the Doc. I saw one roosting near the nest, The problem is It is almost impossible to get closer than 175-200 yds since the tree is at the edge of an open field which is very low lying, last spring I tried but the wading 50yds of mud wore me out and it didn't get any drier even in the summer. I live about 50yds from the river that run right under the nest tree and a mile up stream , not enough water to try and float in.
I'M really considering baiting them. We'll see come spring.

Cindy you’d best talk to the grocery stores and take any past sellable fruit off their hands! Great fun shots and I love your processing!

Wow, looks like a blast. How long do they hang out in numbers like this. It would be fun to visit your area just to play with the eagles. Thanks for sharing.
