Hello all! Strictly a (long time) amateur, I've played with photography for most of my 79 years. I use photography mainly to challenge myself and to try to find a measure of satisfaction in the results. It is a never ending quest. I like to shoot the outdoors and sports. Hardware used has been strictly Canon for the last 20+ years. Before digital, I used Mamiya, Minolta, Pentax, Olympus and Canon in that order. I've enjoyed the posts on this forum for a while, and frankly am in awe of many of the photos posted here.

The 'canberra' moniker is a tip of the hat to the British designed/built bomber that replaced their "Mosquito" and was subsequently built and modified by the Glenn L. Martin Co. in Baltimore. The US version was designated B-57.
