Great shot. Like the tree on the left. The photo shows the humungous size of the Grand Canyon. Download is terrific. Mahalo for sharing.
This is a classic shot, Bob. It captures the enormity of the canyon better than any of mine did.
Absolutely beautiful image Bob!
Beautiful capture and exquisite rendering. I like how you chose to position yourself so that the shadow of the tree clearly delineated the edge of the cliff, making us realize that it fell away rapidly. Often, photos taken close to the edge lack something like that and the edge blends into the midground. Stellar work as always. Please stay well and keep on giving us images to work towards.
Beautiful shot. Can’t believe I still haven’t been there.
That’s beautiful, Bob. You have captured the real essence of the Canyon.
Side note: I found the North Rim more interesting--at least more photogenic--than the bus-toured South Rim, though both are majestic. Am I assuming correctly that you took your shot on further west of the tour bus stops?
Well thought out composition and the result is spectacular!
Beautiful. Postcard worthy.
