GF3C Ops.......Can't find "press button-instant shot" in manual/trying

a GF3C with coupling to Nikon <D> lens (Sigma 70-300) for manuel shooting. In M-mode, and "lens off" clicked I can focus BUT when I click (shoot) it is not instantanius......too many seconds before it completes, and does not show pix. Can't find command in the menu to remove, or change setting. When using original Lumix zoom lens or kit lens I have no problem. Love the camera....lighter than my D750. T.I.A. for tips/pointing out pages in manual.

I’m assuming you are using a lens adapter so you can put this Nikon lens on the Lumix camera. Sometimes when lens adapters are used, the performance drops, particularly the focusing speed. This is an older camera and the technology wasn’t as evolved as it is today. You may just have to contend with slower performance.

Good Afternoon Greg.......Solved the (non) problem by going back to the manual, and reading carefully. I had the <S> and <A> control so far out of whack that it took too many seconds for the shutter to click. Moved the control wheel any turns and ":voila" get back instant shutter. Having fun with this P&S rig, and will probably buy more Nikon "old" lens. Currently trying to get a Sigma 24-70 lens (asking price $29-yes that's right, only $29) on CraigsList. Best from....Peter

Hey, who says something’s a bust because it’s so cheap. Lots of great glass out there at tiny prices. Good deal. Glad you got it figured out. I looked that camera up, Googled it, and read part of an Imaging Resource review. Interesting little camera. It wasn’t cheap when it was introduced.
