Who else has had the power supply fail on their Pro-100 printer? I bought mine in 2017 and have used it lightly. I'd estimate I've printed less than 50 sheets with it. I wanted to print something last week and it wouldn't turn on when I pushed the power button. I went to the Canon online forum and discovered that the problem isn't all that rare. There were some fixes offered and I tried them but nothing worked.
Fortunately, the power supply is a separate removable module. Through eBay I found a vendor in China who is refurbishing the modules and selling them for $40. It should be arriving sometime within the next two or three weeks.
I'm wondering if anyone else here has had similar power module problems. Maybe if enough of us got together and complained Canon would do something to make it right. Their answer right now is to try to essentially re-boot the module by an on/off button pushing procedure and if that doesn't work they suggest you buy a new printer. Depending on when you buy them the Pro-100 can go for anywhere between $75 to $499. I got mine cheap when they had a $250 rebate so I will come out okay if the refurbished module works. I still don't think it's right for a company to put out a printer that has an obviously troublesome power supply module and not offer to replace it even when it's out of warrantee.

Do you have a link to that article ?
Sorry I don't remember how I found it. It was on the Canon printer support forum.
Update:
I purchased a refurbished power supply from a company in China. I plugged it in but it didn't work. The printer is dead dead dead. I took it out to the garage today, on its way to the dump. Recycle, whatever. Needless to say my next printer won't be a Canon. What a waste of money.
