Just passing some time today so I brought out one of my preserved spiders and staged it for a focus stacking session at 5X magnification with emphasis on its chelicerae with its fangs underneath and its pedipalps which are specialized leg-like organs used to taste and smell (much like when I eat fried chicken). These do not have claws like their legs and the males use them as part of their reproductive system....which for some is quite risky for he is more likely to be eaten than as he is to mate and even then he may be eaten afterward.
Divorce in the spider world can be quite brutal.
very interesting,good stack too!

Thanks, of course it's not as interesting as the mimic that you found however I have to work with what I have.

Oh, Napabob. I truly wish that I had the little bundle of joys that you have now to entertain me and to watch them grow as time goes by.

Thanks for the reply and for bringing back those memories of her comedy. She was truly a jewel and a ground breaker for women comedians.
