Mason Wasp

While bringing in one of our dogs I noticed this black and white Mason Wasp crawling on our foundation. Having learned not to go outside without a specimen bottle has allowed me to take advantages of opportunities as it has this time.

This is a focus stacked image staged at 5X magnification.

Thanks, Brenda. I have several specimens in my collection due to a 'dog associated event' such as me standing with the door open calling for them to get their butt back in the house as they give me that, "Who me?" look.

That is nothing, you want to try getting our cat in at night, it has to be his decision when to come which never coincides with our polite requests. Hot fish is my best technique.
