Boating all week long has been a whole lot of fun, thanks leslie, your challenge drew a lot of good posts. Well here we are back to the Free Sunday bit again. If you haven’t been here before it is an opportunity to bring anything you would like to share with us, be it some recent shot you want to post, some new trick you learned in post processing, or any left overs from previous challenges you didn’t get posted. Whatever it may be provided it is family friendly we would love for you to share here.
When we moved into this house I added a couple of Texas Sage bushes that have grown too tall for where I placed them. A little trimming job when fall gets here. I had read or heard that the Texas sage would forecast rain is coming.. well, Thursday coming home from the grocery store I noticed they were in full bloom. You know what, that afternoon and evening we got 2 3/8 inches in my gage. Took all these with iphone 2 days later after a lot of the blossoms have fallen off.

Hard to believe it blooms before a rain shower.

Great start, Larry, and it really is amazing how fare
the cameras have come on cell phones. (My Samsung
phone started dying, and I haven't had a chance to
figure out the new LG one I got...)

Here are a couple I took earlier this year with the Samsung:

Two different "rules" of boating going on here,,
and they conflict with each other.

Normally the smaller boat has the right of way,
that is unless the other boat is to your right...

Playing "chicken" on the water can be deadly...

Late summer flowers, a sign that fall is just around the corner.
I,don't know what the last one is, it always shows up in the garden, seems to only grow where the ground has been disturbed.
