Ahrite, ahrite, ahrite! It’s almost here, and maybe I’m jumping the gun a little, but even if I’m just a little early here’s an invitation. Yep another free weekend is what I’m alluding to and if you missed posting something on any earlier challenges here and now is the place and time so bring it on. Free is free so if your fancy is tickled by something tickle ours too. Just keep it family friendly if you will.
Thanks Pat for the phone-a-photo challenge.

Had a lot of fun playing with the phone's photo aps!!

Well, Larry, if you have "facial recognition" on your phone would you be able to unlock it with that face???

11 Years ago today, my husband gave me my dream car - an MG (this one is a 72 MGB) - for my birthday. It may not be practical, but it surely is fun. I couldn't drive last season and only half the season prior ( clutch needed replacing). This year didn't look promising. When I returned from celebrating with our daughter, kids and a friend this afternoon, this was all spiffed up and in the driveway and ready to go. So I took it for a ride. It's such fun. Not as easy now for me to get in or out of, and not sure what other parts will later protest - but it was fun!!

Happy Pat
Happy Pat...

ready to ride!

I've got MG envy - I'd love to have one of those cars! Several years ago we spent the night in Thurso, Scotland and there were MGs all over town - turned out they were having a huge rally - it was so neat! Happy Birthday!

I recently joined Photocrowd and on Monday submitted my picture "The Pink Umbrella" in one of their contests. After posting I scrolled down the page to see what others had contributed and was shocked to see my image which had been posted a couple months ago by a man names Michael E. Main! I sent him a very strongly worded "how dare you!!!" message and notified the admins of what happened. I haven't heard from them as yet but if I do I have all the data to prove the picture is mine and also, what our little friend didn't realize is that he stole a cropped version and the uncropped original is in my archives. Photocrowd is an international site with thousands of members and our boy Michael thought he would be safe among the throng! WRONG!!! As the Bible so eloquently puts it, "be sure your sin will find you out"! You got busted Mikey!!

How much fun that must be. Please swing by and pick me up and we can tour your childhood neighborhood.

So I guess I missed wishing you a very happy birth date anniversary. Looks like Jim made it a very happy one. I know what you mean about getting in and out of the smaller vehicles. Tried a mini cooper once and quickly erased it from my to be owned bucket list.

Should be a prize winner, Sue. Good that you caught him. We had someone a few years back try posting one that wasn't his on this thread and he got caught by the owner who ventured into the UHH often and just happened to see his photo on this particular thread. Your copy write thief should get his due as well.

I was cleaning out a lot old files from past vacations, and ran across a couple of souvenirs from a trip to Maine tucked into one of the Trip Brochures the tourist bureau publishes. I guess I tucked them in there so I'd remember where they came from.
