I’m a retired economic developer, banker, part-time wedding photographer and full time curmudgeon!
I took advantage of the Covid downtime to learn more about my Nikon D7100 and gained the confidence to take it off automatic, a huge step for me. I have these Nikon lenses - 50mm F1.8, 18-140mm kit lens, F3.5-5.6 and a 75-300mm F 4.5-5.6, the latter I’ve owned for over 25 years. My conclusion is that the camera is yet one more possession smarter than I am!
I own but haven’t used in ages, a D80, a F100 and a Pentax 645 medium format system.
The Rocky Mountains are close to where I live so landscape photography is one of my main interests. I’m intrigued by macro photography and look forward to experimenting. Photographing the grandkids is also a love of mine.
Looking forward to learning a lot from the great photographers at UHH!

Welcome to the Hog, Norm, enjoy.
Welcome to the forum.
Looking forward to some shots of your neck of the woods.
Welcome aboard. We look forward to seeing some of your photographs.

Welcome, Norm. Post and have fun.
Welcome. I used to shoot Mamiya medium format. Still have the gear, still love medium format. But I have to admit, I could never go back to film more than limited part time. Love medium format transparencies but I'm getting almost the same thing with my full frame digital, but lighter, faster, immediate feed back.
Looking forward to seeing some of your stuff.
