Its been years since i came here and now that i am back it makes me wonder why I ever stopped coming. I changed my cameras from Nikon d70 to Nikon d7000 and now to Nikon d850 which I am still learning. bear with me while I make a fool out of myself a few times.

Nikon is good about making sure you like it. i got numerous emails wanting to know how i liked it until i told them all i needed was time but all i have ever shot since 1965 was Nikon so i was sure i would and that ended that conversation lol. so far i love it but it is taking some getting used to

Welcome back and congrats on the new D850! I've had mine for almost a year and I'm a happy camper. I'm getting the best photographs of my life. I would like to take some of the credit but what a camera!
I'm seeing some banding in the sky in your photograph. Not sure what's going on and no one else is commenting on it so maybe it's just me? I hope my monitor isn't headed for a cliff.

there is banding in the sky. light clouds i think. that was not taken with my 850 that was with my 7000. it did a nice job too but i agree with you on the quality of the 850 so far.
