Hi,
I have the Epson Eco Tank 2760.
I am looking for a high end paper for 8 1/2 x 11 prints.
I am a complete novice but have some really nice shots and also abstract art.
One think im dealing with is that my pictures are not a very high resolution so im capping size at 8 1/2 x 11
I am a complete amateur.
Any advice would help.
Thank you.

"High End" means different things to different folks.

Best idea is to get a "sample pack" or their paper products from Epson, and decide from there. Probably about 12-15 bucks.

Next idea is to go to BandH.com, Adorama.com, or (my favorite) RedRivercatalog.com, search for "sample packs" in the photo paper area, and then look for one that says: 'fine art'. Again 12-15 bucks, each.

The "next ..." selection above will get you started. You'll have to download proper ICC profiles (an easy job) to get the best quality, because profiles from other companies are not included in the software that comes with the Epson printer.

But you should also consider purchasing a color calibration device for your monitor. Until you use one, your prints may/will vary from one session to another. An "inexpensive" one will probably be at least $100.00.

In any case, B&H and Adorama - and many other dealers as well - will have "primers" on printing. And any of the paper makers will as well, usually to a much deeper level.

Once you start printing your own work, you'll either hate doing it - or you'll become an addict ...

Check Epson's web site for their top quality photo paper recommended for that model printer.

White! This is NOT a good printer for photos a three inks and a waste of money using good photo paper in it. An Epson P600 would make you much happier. Read the Red River Paper site for more info about proper photo printing. Best of luck.
