Issue with white arc on my photos

Hi all! I went to Wiers Beach here in NH and took some pictures with my newly used Nikon D750 with Nikon AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm 1.4 G ED N Lens. in all of my pictures I get this sorta white streak. (I have attached a file for reference). I have no idea what caused it. It is in the same place in every picture. no matter what subject I took a picture of. I don't think it has anything to do with the sun or lighting issue. I did import into Lightroom, I looked at the raw files and yes it is there. Your help with figuring this out would be appreciated! please help. Also any ideas on how to get rid of it? I have Lightroom and photoshop.

Make sure that both front and rear elements of your lens are clean. If that's not the problem, it may be something on your sensor. You'll need to get it cleaned.

Are you using an UV or ND filter on your lens?. If so you may have a flaw or scratch on the filter.

That’s my guess also.

I would start by shooting without a lens hood and then without any filters.

If that doesn’t find an answer, remove the lens and shine a narrow beam flashlight through the back of the lens and project it onto a ceiling or wall.

If the issue is still there, the lens may be ruined.

At that point it would seem an inner element had become out of alignment.

Good luck.

The first thing I would do is change lenses. Then you will know if the problem is the camera or the lens. Since the mark is part of a circle, I suspect the problem is with the lens.

That would be a good start.

I never knew that Nikon made a AF-S Nikkor 24-120mm 1.4 G ED N. It was either an f/4 or an f/3.5-4.5 (affectionately called the "street sweeper").

Actually the ‘street sweeper’ was an f3.5-5.6.

I did not use any filters, or lens hoods. I switched lenses and it was still there. I am looking into possibly having the sensor cleaned?

Could be a hair in front of/ on the sensor. If so, a blower might take care of it.

I ended up sending the camera to Nikon for repair. It has been on the recall list for a shudder problem. It now works perfectly! Thank you!

Are you using a polarizing filter? I've seen a complete pale circle in the sky with some on mine when using a less than top of the line polarizer.
