Thanks, Larry for hosting a Free Challenge Weekend. If you were looking for "Yard Birds" with Sunnybuck, it was necessary to switch challenge calendar dates; "Yard Birds" will appear for week of 7/27-7/31.

In my film days a multiple or double exposure was something you didn't want to see. Now there are multiple ways to create them purposefully and artistically in camera or in post. Smart phones have a number of apps to accomplish the same thing.

This article has some excellent examples, tips and images: https://digital-photography-school.com/multiple-exposures-camera/

I'll start off with a few images taken using the multiple exposure feature in my camera. And 2 images fused in my smart phone. The challenge is finding shots that will merge well together. In future posts, I'll show some created in post (layering, really) and how I used them.

Great images, Pat! Unfortunately, my Canon EOS60D doesn't do "in camera" doubles, so I'll have to rely on Photoshop, but I did want to say, as a former wedding photographer (many, many, many years ago), it was so much easier to do doubles on film, and clients would pay extra for well executed ones. I wish I had some of those, but the only "in camera" double I have is one I've posted many times before, so I hope you don't mind.
