Shield Bug

This is a very small black shield bug that I found on the vines around the old kennel building today that I brought in and staged for a focus stacking session. I suspect due to its small size that it is a nymph stage of something that would eventually be much larger.

Thanks, Doc. It takes a bit of extra effort in the setup to shoot a black subject on a black background.
