Momma always said "Eat your vegetables!" and "Don't play with your food!" June is fresh fruit and vegetable month. Let's see fruits and vegetables - and I say, "Get creative and play with your food"! An apple a day from several angles.

Frank!! you live in a delicious place!. Let me know when the lemon is transformed into a pie! So...that's how they do the raisins! I'd also take one sweet red pomegranate.

Thanks, Frank. I saw the most wonderful still life somewhere - maybe here, maybe another forum. Have wanted to re-create it, but don't have a decent acrylic backdrop and soft lights - each fruit and vegetable was cut in half so their interior design faced the camera and jet black background. It was such an effective creation and created the perfect photo for a kitchen or dining room.

Yes, they cut he grapes, lay them on the paper trays to dry, then rolll then up. You can tell the grapes that become raisins, because they are laid out east to west.

Don't forget your veggies...no dessert until you've eaten them all. Lettuce, tomato and celery.
