Sometimes Raw is just great. Takes me back to the darkroom days. Development of negative by inspection.
Sometimes Raw is just a waste of my precious time.
It's all about time and space.

That's why I save as raw and JPG. I have a copy of everything readily available, but if I want to put some time into something special, I have the raw version.

Yeah. Exactly.
I can buy bigger external hard drives.
It's the space between my ears I worry about!

And when you get near someone, they don't ask, "What's that horrible smell?"

I guess that's why you live where you do - fewer people to be insulting.

I buy DK76 room freshener so that when I am in Photoshop it seems authentic.

You know, that's not a bad idea for a gimmick gift. I think the market would be too small, though, for someone to develope that product. You can buy spray cans of new car smell.

ƒstop22, I don't think anyone was trashing shooting in JPEG or any other format for that matter. It is simply a matter of preference and whether or not you choose to spend time in PP. As for posting photos, I for one am rather leary about posting anywhere! I use my work to supplement my income, and there are far too many unscrupulous people out there who find it easier to rip off the amateur or pro photographer just because they "found it on the web, it must be free", even though our copyright is plainly visible. But if you must see my work to validate my claims, please refrain from commenting on my © across the image, and concentrate on the body of work. Respectfully 33 Rivers (WJB4)
