Hey, hey, hey it’s Free Sunday once again and the last for a while it looks like. However, the summer challenges includes two free days on the weekends so look forward to that and all that will bring. Thanks to Pat for the flags. And thanks to Leslie for the 10 shot challenge. Both well done.
There was a challenge week before last that started me digging in the boxes. I think I told you about my 7th grade girlfriend who moved away and then the 8th grade girlfriend and I moved away. Now you got a country boy in a relatively big city, and being the new kid on the block I was rather shy about finding a new girlfriend but finally did find a steady my senior year and the picture I found of her…. well .... Dee made me throw it away.
Oh what happened to her….she moved away.
So, in college wouldn’t you know I needed a new girlfriend, and I found one. Her grandparents had a cabin out on the Platte River. That was pretty cool.

So I decided if any moving was going to happen…we’d do it together.

We're still moving together...just a whole lot slower.
I guess I'm on a church kick. The first one is a Catholic church in Westphalia, MO. a small town of about 2 -3 hundred people. The next three are the Winston Churchill National Memorial in Fulton, MO. and the last one is the United Methodist church in Jefferson City, MO. with the Cole County Courthouse in the background.
The Churchill memorial in on the grounds of Westminster College, the location of were Winston Churchill gave the famous Iron Curtain speech.

LOVE IT! Thanks. Me and my gal didn't meet until we were 28 but I knew when I met her it was forever. I met her at a Christmas party that UCSF medical center was having at Fort Mason. We got married 9 months later and 31 years later we are going strong.
I took this picture of my dad's painting, "Aore Girl" the other day - had a dickens of a time framing it so that both the painting and the top of the cabinet would be straight.
