She's a Mother

She's a gift to her children
Our strong devotion each day
A hand in our hand
A breath of fresh air along the way
She's our good fairy godmother
A mighty mom everywhere
The sun in the morning
She's our daily prayer
She's our encouraging voice
As we grow day by day
The rose in the vase
The shine on a cloudy day
She's God's angel sent from heaven
Our bright star in the night
The queen of our souls
She's our shadow in the light
A comfort when she holds you
A memory when she's gone
A million tiny heart beats
The music in a song
She's a love that's everlasting
Worth more than diamonds and gold
We thank God for our mothers
A sacred treasure to behold

I'd Give just about Anything to be able to give Her a good Squeeze and another Kiss on the Cheek..

All Mothers are welcome Here Human and Animal..

My Mom and I at the Mt Washington Hotel (c) 2007. See is now in an assisted living facility in MA and has been diagnosed with the conv10 virus. I cannot even go see her as the place is in lockdown. I was able to speak with her on the phone yesterday and she did not sound well and wondered why I was not coming to see her. This is breaking my heart...

This Mother's Day was definitely bittersweet. My Mother has lived with us for about a year now, as she has dementia now, and is no longer able to live alone in her home. But she is not in another state, living alone during a pandemic. My grown daughter and my 12 year old Granddaughter came by Saturday to leave us a box on the porch, and stand out in the yard with masks on to wish us a Happy Mother's Day. So we saw them, but couldn't really visit. But I'm thankful for so many things. I love seeing everyone's Moms and I'm so sorry for those that have lost their's or who couldn't be with them due to this pandemic. My husband's parents are also very elderly. We usually visit them every summer, and this year.......we just don't know if we will even be able to.(his Father is 93.)

I share this picture every year on mom's day....My mom, Florence, was a nurse. She was the reason why I

chose nursing for a profession so many years ago. She was always helping people all of her life. I think this

picture attests to that wonderful quality she had!

I Hope everyone had a nice Mother's Day-in spite of social distancing.

Bill and I spent the day working outside installing a gazebo. Believe it or not -it was fun!

Thank you for the chance to honor the most important person ever in my life. I think about my childhood and I often have to cut myself off thinking about all the great memories that she was directly responsible for. We’re slowly losing her to Alzheimer’s and it saddens me to think she’s losing all of those memories that have sustained me through difficult times. Well sorry everybody, didn’t mean to bum you out. I choose this day to remember all the good times.

#2 shows all the love your wife had for her Mom. Emotional "last" photograph to cherish.

This is my beautiful Mom, Doris Emily, and chubby me taken on the farm in 1951. Mom had a hard life as a dairy farmer's wife, but was always there for the family and instilled independence in the 8 kids. The dog is Rusty Nucks because I could't pronounce Rusty Nuts.
