Tufted Titmouse

While waiting for migrating birds in eastern Massachusetts, we make do with the residents of our back yard. Other than Robins, Tufted Titmice seem to be the most common around here, and I captured one this morning flitting among the trees. I was pleased, because I was getting tired of all my pictures of branches...

As I have stated many times; small birds in flight are really hard to get right. This one is nice.

Thank you, kpmac. As you know, it takes the right gear, the right camera settings, being in the right place at the right time, and a ton of luck. That’s why I was pleased to capture this otherwise “common” bird in flight. I assume that is what this forum section is all about.

Nice shot - little birds are so amazing how the dart about like that. If one isn't hovering, it is just amazing to get it. Well done!
