I love seeing the first blooms of the year start to appear. I plant new bulbs every fall and really enjoy seeing what comes up. And when the fruit trees start to blossom I really get excited. I am looking forward to seeing the first blooms of spring from your neighborhood.

I live half a block from Golden Gate Park, and I just got a new macro lens a few weeks ago so I could shoot tiny flowers. I've been concentrating on the cherry blossoms, since they have a short season.

Thanks Kat for the challenge. My yard started exploding with blooms just last week.

Things bloom very early in Florida, so some of our things are already finished. My wisteria did not last long this year, so it is finished. I have Confederate Jasmine that is bursting, so maybe I'll get out there today for some more photos.

katspangle lovely group I like the the first one best. No flowers yet, but the snow is gone from the yard. Still frost every night.
