This is my preserved June Bug which which has been in my collection for nearly a year now. I staged it for a focus stacking session to try out a different lighting diffuser which I made from a piece of white copy paper arched over the subject and illuminated softly from the outer surface from multiple directions.
I've got a way to go with experimenting with it getting the settings and power of the lamps controlled. This is a 3X-power magnified image taken with the 85mm 1X to 5X macro lens.
