Thanks Rowdy. This was shot with a Nikon D4s, Nikkor 800mm lens, matched 1.25x teleconverter.

I've been a fan of teleconverters for quite some time. It's amazing what you can do with good ones. You did an excellent job with your teleconverter.

Nice job...didn't know Nikon made a 1.25, but I agree and use my 1.4 without any qualms, great system. And you'd be hard-pressed to identify the 2.0 unless peeping at 100%...

Thanks Chas. The 1.25x is matched to and included with the AF-s 800mm. They are actually made with the lens and share a serial number.

All three sharp shots of the small fries. That combo works for you. #1 is super sharp and I love woodpeckers.
