5.2 near Sparks, OK.

Apparently, there were several since early morning, but I didn't feel them.

This one, I felt. Scary, though I'm sure there's no damage.

And it's late enough I don't want to call around and wake people up to see if they felt it.

The one I felt was right at 10:55 CDT.

I heard the window blinds rattling, and heard what sounded like a big gust of wind outside. Then it felt like someone was pushing and pulling on the back of the couch. My hanging basket in the corner was swaying pretty good.

I'm 20 miles west of Topeka Kansas in the Flint Hills, and I felt it. I thought the cat was moving my recliner. It went on for several minutes while I was swatting at the stupid cat, and my Wife said a cat was making her couch move too. It all made sense when we heard an hour later that we had an earthquake.

think if youre west of flint hills some may not or as intense. lil more clay and sand to dampen it. they saying now it's part of something that happened 300,000 years ago when the arbuckle an washita mountains were formed

I'm West of Topeka, but only a few miles into the Flint Hills.
I'm surprised I even felt it at all since my house sits on top soil that's over 40' deep.

Wow!!

I've lived here all my life, never felt one before Saturday. I hope it won't be a frequent thing. lol

I always tell my California friends that you can hide from a tornado. No hiding from earthquakes, floods, wildfires, etc.
