Snow Goose in flight

A Snow Goose landing at Colusa WLR. Shot with a Nikon D500 and Nikon 200-500. Processed in LR. If you don't know the difference between the Ross's goose and the Snow Goose, as they are both white, look for the "grin" on the side of the beak of the Snow Goose.

Love the way you were able to isolate this guy. We have them not too far from me, and I have one heck of a time getting a decent shot of one off all by its lonesome. Guess I need more patience!

Love the viewer's eye being drawn to the bird's head and eye! Nicely composed and a beautiful subject. If it were mine, I would boost the contrast ever so slightly and maybe a touch of sharpening to further isolate and define the subject from the background. But hey, that's just me!

I often sharpen images in PS but for whatever reason did not do that in this case. Perhaps I got sidetracked! It was processed in a number of ways. Thanks for your critical comments(I don't mean that in a bad sense, but instead in that you were looking at the image from a critical perspective, a good thing) .
