I have a Panasonic Lumix fz70. It seems to take great pictures, with great details, and it captures what I'm looking at. It has plenty of options.
I also have a canon sx530. I really like the pictures it takes. A 60 or 70 may be in my future.
Canon SX 60 which replaced a Canon SX50 after it died.
Both cameras satisfy my needs as an amateur
I bought the sx70 for travel. I also have a Nikon D7000 and some heavy lenses. The canon takes very good pictures.
Nikon P900. Takes great images with nice color and detail, and it’s ultra zoom of 2000mm makes it a fun camera.
That's good to hear! So many of the "professional" reviews knock the Nikon cameras for image quality. I trust someone who uses the camera daily for their own pleasure.

The P900 isn’t my daily camera, but there are times when only it will do, and it doesn’t disappoint. The one shortcoming I’ve found with it is that at times it’s auto focus struggles, particularly in low light and at the extreme end of the zoom range. Mainly it can be a bit slow. Here’s a shot I took of a brown bear with it at a wildlife refuge south of Anchorage. I thought it turned out well. It’s not at the extreme end of the zoom, and yes, it was behind a sturdy, tall fence. The second one was zoomed in a bit more. These are hand held.
Very nice! I like those pictures. What's your daily camera?

It was my Sony A6300 with the 18-135 f/3.5-5.6 OSS lens, but since I got the Sony RX100M7 last September, it’s pretty much become my go to camera. I really like that camera and it does a very good job. It does just about everything the A6300 does, but in a small package, and I don’t have to switch out lenses. The Nikon goes in the car with me.
The Sony gets great reviews all around. Nice to hear you like it so well!
i have Lumix FZ1000 II and FZ80. They do everything I want.

How is the FZ1000 II improved over the first edition, at least as far as you’ve noticed?
I would add, is there a noticeable difference between the fz 80 and the1000 II?
