Soul Dr. Loc: Beautiful Shenandoah Valley

OK, I had a couple of requests about this image from my Down in the Valley series.
Someone thought it would look better with the line of little trees in the foreground cropped off.
Someone wanted to see it in B&W.
So here is a version that is cropped and rendered in B&W.
Personally I like the little trees in the foreground and I like the color version better.
But different people have different tastes. Being the nice guy I am, I try to be accommodating.
What say you, Hoggers? Please try the downloads.

Color.
The tree shadows seem more pronounced in the color version.
Better depth also.

Number 1 for me too...the layers and haze/fog really define the composition!!

I'm with you the colored is better. A lot of detail lost in B/W, too much same gray tone to me. I like the no cropping also.

I’m a B&W gal. BUT, I like the first one much better.

I am a B&W fan usually but here I have to go with the color image.

Just my .02.
I am a big fan of B&W but in this case I like the color version and I agree with you, I like the row of trees.
Nice pic.

These are both nice, and you have done well with the black and white (and I’m a b&w fan). That said, your color version has much more impact, for me at least.

The original is more interesting to me with all the tonal and coloration quality.
